As a society, our overall health continues to be poor. I try to make a difference by being involved in medical care individually and in the community.

Why I Treat Children

I enjoy working with children, especially those with congenital heart disease. This is an inherited condition and not acquired — compared to adult cardiology — so it’s not their fault. Kids’ energy is amazing — and so is all the good energy I get from their parents and my colleagues.

What I'm Passionate About

I have a passion about using exercise as a diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic tool. My interests include:

My interests include:

  • Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) use in cardiopulmonary stress testing in cardiomyopathy patients vs normal patients
  • MRI volumetrics (a type of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, a noninvasive diagnostic test) vs cardiopulmonary stress testing in cardiomyopathy patients
