Get to Know Me

Dr. Wolfgang Radtke is an interventional pediatric cardiologist; active member of American Heart Association (AHA) Committee on Scientific Sessions Program and a leadership committee member of the Council on Cardiovascular Disease in the Young; international presenter; researcher; teacher and author of more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles.

Why I Treat Children

I went into pediatric cardiology because treating congenital and acquired heart disease in children is a very complex but also very rewarding challenge. I’ve been focused on this one highly specialized area of medicine for three decades, and I’m proud of the excellent results we’ve been able to achieve.

How I Try to Make A Difference

I’m focused on trying to correct children’s heart problems with minimal discomfort, without scars and with less than a day in the hospital. My goal is to achieve the best possible results in the safest way possible and we always measure our results against other top institutions. This approach also means providing straightforward answers and real honesty, because that’s what patients and families deserve.
