Get to Know Me
I come from a tight-knit family of teachers, and have always felt drawn to the educational aspect of medicine. Treating and mentoring children and families is a big part of what I do as a primary care physician, and I enjoy helping all the young families get off to a good start.
Why I Treat Children
Children are innocent, resilient and can make best of a situation without even realizing it. I enjoy connecting with them, becoming like a part of the family, watching them grow from infancy through adolescence. Even when nothing is wrong, I get to have a preventive role in their care.
What I'm Passionate About
Every child should have a medical home, a place where they feel comfortable and cared for, regardless of socioeconomic status and insurance. That’s a priority for us at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. I feel strongly that all children deserve quality primary care, not just when they’re sick but also when they’re well.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I make sure patients and their families know I’m available, that they can contact me with a simple medical question or a life event. We’ve been around for a long time, and we’re an important part of the community. I also help train medical students and mentor them during their training, and it’s satisfying to see them grow as doctors.
